Description
Finding My Path began as a step into unfamiliar territory for me. The real challenge wasn’t the painting itself, but the expectations I carried. I chose to work more loosely and abstractly than I usually do, letting go of control and allowing the paint to move and surprise me. It felt unsettling at first — and then freeing.
The tiger resting among blooming tiger lilies became a natural symbol of that experience. Tigers represent courage, strength, and independence, while lilies are delicate and fleeting. Together, they speak to the balance we’re all learning — how to be strong yet soft, bold yet gentle, powerful while still allowing ourselves to rest.
As the painting took shape, it became less about the outcome and more about trust. Trusting my instincts. Trusting the quiet pull toward something new. Trusting that stepping onto unfamiliar ground is often how we find our way.
I hope Finding My Path offers the same feeling to you — a reminder to rest in your strength, to trust the unknown, and to believe that your journey is unfolding exactly as it should.
